Player Protection

Responsible Gaming at gibajee

We believe that gambling should always be an enjoyable form of entertainment — never a source of financial stress or personal harm. gibajee is committed to providing every player in Bangladesh with the tools, information, and support they need to play safely and within their means.

18+ Only — Strict age verification
Deposit Limits — You set the boundaries
Time-Out Tools — Take a break anytime
Self-Exclusion — Up to permanent closure
Safe Environment

gibajee uses 256-bit SSL encryption and secure account controls to ensure your personal data and funds remain protected at all times.

Spend Controls

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits directly from your account. Once applied, limits take effect immediately and can only be reduced, not increased, without a cooling-off period.

Session Reminders

Configure session-duration alerts so your account notifies you when you have been playing for a defined period of time — a simple nudge to pause and reflect.

Self-Exclusion

Request a temporary or permanent self-exclusion at any time. During an exclusion period, you will be unable to log in or deposit, and any pending promotional offers will be voided.

Dedicated Support

Our responsible gaming support team is available around the clock. Reach us at support@gibajee and receive a priority response within 24 hours.

Player Education

We publish clear guides on how games work, what the house edge means, and how to interpret odds — so every player on gibajee makes informed decisions.

Our Commitment to Safe Play

At gibajee, responsible gaming is not a box-ticking exercise — it sits at the very core of how we operate. We are Bangladesh's trusted online casino and sports betting platform, and with that trust comes an obligation to ensure every player on our platform has a genuinely positive experience. Gambling is a legitimate form of adult entertainment, and like any form of entertainment it should be enjoyed freely, within budget, and without harm.

We recognise that a small percentage of players may develop problematic gambling habits over time. gibajee is committed to identifying those players early, intervening proactively, and providing every possible pathway to help. This page outlines the full range of tools and policies we have put in place to support responsible gaming across our entire platform — from cricket betting and BPL markets to slots, live casino tables powered by Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play, and crash games.

Gambling Is Entertainment — Not a Financial Strategy

Never chase losses. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. Always treat your wager as the cost of entertainment, not as an investment or a source of income. gibajee enforces this principle through our platform tools and player education programme.

Our responsible gaming framework covers four broad pillars: prevention (keeping minors and vulnerable individuals off the platform), protection (giving players the controls they need to stay within healthy boundaries), intervention (detecting and acting on signs of problem gambling behaviour), and support (connecting players in need with professional help quickly and discreetly).

Age Restriction & Verification

gibajee is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy on underage gambling and deploy a multi-step verification process at registration to confirm every player's age before they are permitted to deposit or place a bet.

During registration, players are required to provide their date of birth and acknowledge that they are at least 18 years of age. Before a first withdrawal — and in some cases before a first deposit — players must complete a full KYC (Know Your Customer) identity check by uploading a government-issued document such as a national ID card or passport. Any account found to belong to a person under the age of 18 is immediately and permanently suspended, and any balance held is handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

⚠️ Parents & Guardians: If you share a device with a family member and are concerned that a minor may have accessed gibajee, please contact us immediately at support@gibajee. We also recommend installing parental control software on shared or family devices to prevent access to gambling websites.

We actively train our customer support staff to identify and report suspected underage account activity. Any player who appears to be under 18 based on account behaviour, profile information, or document submission will have their account frozen pending a full review.

Responsible Gaming Tools

gibajee provides a comprehensive suite of in-account tools that put you in control of your gambling activity. All of the tools below are accessible directly from your account settings panel and can be activated at any time without needing to contact support first.

Deposit Limits
Cap the amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly, or monthly period in BDT (৳).
Loss Limits
Set a maximum net loss threshold. Once reached, further play is automatically paused until the period resets.
Session Limits
Limit how long a single gaming session can last before you are automatically logged out and prompted to take a break.
Reality Check
Receive on-screen pop-up reminders at intervals you choose, showing total time played and net result for the session.
Time-Out
Take a short break from gambling for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. Your account is suspended for the chosen period.
Self-Exclusion
Exclude yourself for 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanently. Re-opening requires a mandatory cooling-off review.
Marketing Opt-Out
Opt out of all promotional messages, bonus notifications, and special offer emails in a single click.
Activity History
Review your full deposit, withdrawal, and betting history at any time so you always have a clear picture of your spend.
Immediate Effect: All limit reductions and self-exclusion requests take effect instantly upon confirmation. Limit increases, however, require a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before they become active — protecting you from impulsive decisions made in the heat of a session.

Deposit & Loss Limits

One of the most practical ways to keep gambling within healthy boundaries is to pre-commit to a spending cap before you start playing. gibajee makes this straightforward with flexible BDT-denominated deposit and loss limits that you control entirely.

How Deposit Limits Work

You can set a maximum BDT deposit amount across three time windows: daily (resets at midnight Bangladesh Standard Time), weekly (resets Monday 00:00 BST), and monthly (resets on the 1st of each calendar month). Once your limit is reached, further deposits via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, Visa, or Mastercard will be declined until the period resets. You may hold multiple limits simultaneously — for example, a daily limit of ৳2,000 and a monthly limit of ৳20,000.

How Loss Limits Work

A loss limit caps your net losses — meaning the total amount you can lose across all bets and games — over a defined period. When your net losses reach the threshold you have set, gibajee will prevent further wagering until the period ends. This tool is particularly valuable for players who prefer to stay engaged with the platform but want a hard ceiling on potential losses.

Adjusting Your Limits

  • Reducing a limit: Takes effect immediately. For example, dropping your daily deposit limit from ৳5,000 to ৳2,000 is active the moment you confirm the change.
  • Increasing a limit: Subject to a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period. The change will not become active until the waiting period expires, giving you time to reconsider.
  • Removing a limit entirely: Also subject to the 24-hour cooling-off rule. This is intentional — your future self will thank you.
Tip: Before your first deposit, take a few minutes to set a monthly deposit limit that reflects your true discretionary entertainment budget. Treating your gambling spend the same way you would treat a cinema subscription or a sports streaming plan helps keep things in perspective.

Self-Exclusion & Time-Out

If you feel that gambling is no longer something you can enjoy responsibly, gibajee offers two levels of account suspension to help you take back control: a short-term Time-Out and a longer-term Self-Exclusion.

Time-Out

A Time-Out is a short break from the platform. You can choose from the following durations: 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a Time-Out, your account is suspended — you cannot log in, deposit, withdraw, or participate in any game or promotional offer. Existing balances are safely held and remain accessible once the Time-Out period ends. Time-Out is ideal when you feel you need a brief pause rather than a long-term break.

Self-Exclusion

Self-Exclusion is a more serious and longer-term measure. gibajee offers the following self-exclusion periods: 6 months, 12 months, 3 years, and permanent exclusion. When you self-exclude, your account is locked, all bonuses and promotional eligibility are removed, and you will be excluded from marketing communications. After the self-exclusion period ends, reopening your account requires a written request to our support team and a mandatory review process — we do not allow re-activation without human oversight.

Permanent self-exclusion is irreversible. If you choose this option, your gibajee account cannot be reinstated under any circumstances, and any remaining balance will be returned to you via your registered payment method after the standard verification process.

How to Activate Self-Exclusion

  • Log into your gibajee account and navigate to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming.
  • Select Self-Exclusion or Time-Out and choose your preferred duration.
  • Confirm your selection. The exclusion takes effect within minutes.
  • Alternatively, email support@gibajee with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and our team will process it as a matter of priority.
Important: During a self-exclusion period, please do not attempt to open a new account on gibajee. Doing so is a violation of our Terms & Conditions and may result in permanent account closure and forfeiture of any balance held in the new account. If you discover you have been able to access a new account during an exclusion, contact us immediately so we can correct it.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually and is not always easy to recognise in yourself. The following warning signs are commonly associated with gambling that has moved beyond healthy entertainment and begun to cause harm. If you recognise any of these patterns in your own behaviour, we encourage you to use the tools on this page and to reach out to our support team.

  • Spending more money on gambling than you originally planned or budgeted for on a regular basis.
  • Chasing losses — increasing your bet sizes or depositing more money in an attempt to win back what you have lost.
  • Gambling with money that is meant for essential expenses such as rent, utilities, food, or family needs.
  • Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when you are not gambling, or when you try to cut back.
  • Lying to family members, friends, or colleagues about the amount of time or money you spend gambling.
  • Borrowing money, selling possessions, or taking out loans specifically to fund gambling activity.
  • Neglecting work, study, family responsibilities, or personal health because of time spent gambling.
  • Continuing to gamble despite repeated negative consequences — financial, relational, or emotional.
  • Experiencing persistent thoughts about gambling, including planning future sessions or thinking about ways to access more funds.
  • Feeling that you need to gamble with increasingly large amounts to experience the same level of excitement.
You Are Not Alone: Problem gambling is a recognised condition, and it is more common than many people realise. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. gibajee's support team can help you access the tools and resources you need — confidentially and without judgment.

Self-Assessment Checklist

The following questions are adapted from widely used responsible gaming assessment frameworks. Read each question honestly and reflect on whether it applies to your gambling behaviour over the past 12 months. If you answer "yes" to three or more of these questions, we strongly recommend activating a Time-Out or Self-Exclusion and contacting our support team.

Personal Gambling Check — Answer Honestly

1
Have you ever spent more time or money gambling than you originally intended for that session?
2
Have you gambled to escape worry, stress, anxiety, or feelings of sadness or loneliness?
3
Have you ever returned to gambling the day after a significant loss, hoping to recover it?
4
Have you ever hidden your gambling activity — or the extent of your losses — from someone close to you?
5
Have you ever gambled with money allocated for household bills, savings goals, or family needs?
6
Have you ever borrowed money or sold items in order to fund gambling?
7
Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling but found it difficult or impossible?
8
Have you noticed that you need to bet larger amounts to feel the same level of excitement as before?
9
Have family members, friends, or colleagues expressed concern about your gambling habits?
10
Have you ever felt depressed, guilty, or distressed after a gambling session?

This checklist is provided for self-reflection purposes only and is not a clinical diagnostic tool. If your answers concern you, please do not hesitate to reach out for support. Taking action early makes a meaningful difference.

Guidelines for Healthy Gambling

  • Set a strict budget before each session and stop when it is exhausted — never dip into funds reserved for other purposes.
  • Think of gambling purely as entertainment. The house always has a mathematical edge; consistent profit is not a realistic expectation.
  • Never gamble while tired, emotionally distressed, intoxicated, or under the influence of any substance that affects your judgement.
  • Take regular breaks during sessions. Stand up, hydrate, and step away from the screen at least once every hour.
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities — sports, socialising, hobbies, and family time should always take precedence.
  • Keep track of your spending by reviewing your gibajee account transaction history weekly.
  • Talk openly to someone you trust if you feel your gambling is getting out of hand. Shame and secrecy are the enemies of recovery.
Remember: Reaching out for help is the right move, and it takes courage. Whether you contact gibajee directly, speak to a family member, or call a helpline, every step toward getting support is a positive one. You are not alone, and things can get better.
